I've been an artist since childhood with a need to create things. I studied painting and design at Framingham State University where I received a B.A. in art in 1981. I've used my creative brain daily to launch many inventions, build businesses, publish a book about the creative process and raise my 3 daughters. I am inspired to interpret and paint things I love such as travel, nature, and family. A visual documentation and legacy that my viewers can get lost in for a few meditative moments. I work with oils in an expressive impasto style.
RECENT NEWS: I moved into a new studio in a cool renovated old textile mill on a canal. Also, I've been accepted and awarded the Denis Diderot Grant for a 4 week Artis-in-Residence at the prestigious Chateau d'Orquevaux in France. My work will be part of the chateau's permanent collection. I can't wait!
